We are happy to announce AEF’s new brand, designed to create a more refined, distinctive identity as a non-profit organization established by the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of the Greater Washington, DC area to engage in charitable and educational activities.
AEF was created primarily to grant fellowships to law students and to engage in other educational activities related to the legal profession and the Asian Pacific American community. The main purpose of the fellowship program is to provide financial assistance to law students pursuing public interest work that impacts the Washington, DC area and the APA community. Funding for these summer fellowships comes from generous grants from corporations, law firms, and from our supporters who attend and contribute to our annual benefit dinner.
Since its inception, AEF is pleased to have expanded its annual activities to include a number of great events including a mentoring program that pairs Asian Pacific American law students with experienced attorneys throughout the school year, speed networking, and the Robert E. Wone Annual Clerkship & Internship Conference.
Thank you for your continued support of AEF’s mission of bringing together attorneys and law students since 1993. The new brand will be rolled out across all of our communications in the coming weeks.
